I am sick and tired of the other thread "The Civic Is Officially The King Of The Hill!!!".

Some simple answers below that will wrap up everybody's else questions, statements and perceptions about this POS car.

a) The Honda Civic is a POS owned by everybody's dad's sister's dog's offspring. Granted it is mighty reliable and will last upwards of 300,000Km.. but it is a POS and its name tarnished by "idiots." Therefore if you have a Civic and it is modded, you are an automatic "idiot." Drop a turbo, K series, B series? From the outside.. it is still a Civic=POS="Idiot"

b) Put a B in this, drop a K in that and it becomes king of the hill, rapes an Enzo, blah blah.. Yes, you can make the Civic faster than the Enzo. There are many cars a tuned Civic can beat.. but all this idiotic hype about it and being the king of the road and crap..

It basically means this: You automatically tell everyone that your life's aspirations is to own a POS econo-box. Good luck in your future life as a street sweeper/toilet cleaner, I'm sure you will have earned enough money when you hit 40 years old to afford that K or B POS. While the other guy is cruising around in style in a real "sports car," you will be parking that god-like crap downtown,.. and don't think people will look twice.. they won't... A POS econo-box will always be a POS econo-box.

c) 11.9sec.. 12.5sec.. 75 hit.. K20.. 2100lbs.. 1900lbs.. Honestly, this bench racing is for retards. If you run a bloody cardboard box, drop in two wheelbarrow wheels and strap a K to it.. You will probably run 9s.. My point? Exactly.. shut the !@#!@# up and learn that there is more to life an owning a POS econo-box. 95% people in this world would rather have a fast car and have things like air conditioning, a "working" dash, rear seats and sound insulation among other things. For those that do not agree you need to re-read a) and b). Can't follow the simple instruction? I won't be surprised.. Your lack of intelligence has been made evident by coming out and praising the Civic as the king of the hill.. but don't be too said.. your low IQ will still get you a good career mentioned in b)

In conclusion, is the Civic an amazing car? Hardly.. higher end rwd German counterparts are faster in the curves. Large displacement domestics have the capacity for more power in the 1320. Then we have everything in between. The Civic is bottom of the barrel.. It isn't much better than a Sunfire, a Cavalier, a Mazda 3 or a Focus.. these are all econo-boxes, designed to be econo-boxes.. That is all.. Give it a rest and drop these arguments.. it isn't a B/K series swap you need.. it is your brain that needs a swap.. All this high compression and high revving redline action has burnt any last working brain cells you had in that miniscule 1.8 litre head you call a brain.

BTW: forget about that 75 hit.. You will need at least a 300 hit... That is the number times I have to hit someone on the head to make them learn that "The Civic Is Officially The King Of The Dump!!!"

u know there are a lot of people out there that dont think that there civic is the king of the hill. u saying that anyone who drives a civic is an idiot makes u an idiot. not all of us car afford a "sports car" . i mod the car i can afford. others mod them because they like them so who really cares what u think about them because maybe ur car to someone else is exactly the way u describe civics. now i will agree there are a lot of idiots who own civics and think there stock honda civic is the fastest thing out there which gives us all bad names but u cant catagorize us all in the same group. some people like taking a slow car and making it faster. there are a lot of cars i dont really like out there that people do up but i can respect them because the person who owns it likes it thats all that matters and they take pride in that. and because one idiot comes on here making a stupid post u dont need to insults us all by putting us in the same catagorie as him.

I think you both have valid points. I for one will admit I will probably own a Civic within a month or so. Why? Because I need cheap reliable transportation that will last. The idea of also being able to mod it is a nice perk and I look forward to having some fun and taking pride in a job well done. I dont give a rat's *** if it does 11s with a 75 shot. I dont give a if it can "rape" an Enzo. I have kids to raise as well which means as much fun as it is to mod a car, it is not #1 priority. So I take all these posts in stride and realize that for me, parenthood comes first. Now for someone to come on here and start throwing threats to bang me and the rest of us up the ***, him and the car he rode in. I dont apreciate that kind of talk, and I dont think it is appropriate even in this forum. Talking smack to one another does not mean you are going to face someone. That is just stupid and childish. If you own a Civic and you are proud of it, hats off to ya. Taking pride in something is for the individual to decide, not someone else. And dont go busting someone else's ***** because they dont live up to your standards, I am sure they dont give a either about you or what you drive.

Moral of this story is: 1. there is always someone out there ready and capable of handing you your *** anytime, anywhere. 2. Get in my face about my life, my town, my family and maybe I should get in your face about a fat lip. Talk is cheap, GET IN THE RING.

You have to respect a car for what it is. Im sure guy's back in the day said"Why drop a Big Block in a Nova/Valiant...Its a ing piece of !!" It never end's. SOme people want the whole package and some people jsut want to go fast. Why SHOULDN'T we dump $5000-$8000 in our econo car's? This way were running with car's that cost $40,000 or More. If you can't respect a car thats faster than your's , you are either ignorant or aren't a true car enthusiast. So what if its a B16 civic with spray or a 350 in a Chevette? Were all car enthusiast's. And if you want the whole package with comfort than The guy who want's all out speed will beat you. And Im sure the guy who beat you in his crap beater enjoyed winning about as much as you hated losing. What if a little Geo Metro BUCKED you and ran 11's? Are you gonna go tell the guy he's a ign idiot and his car sucks? Ya right. You'd be ign embarrassed. So you can rant and rave all you want. People mod civic's for the same reason they mod 5.0 litres and Camaro's. Cause there cheap to make fast. Go ahead and be different. You can spend more money to go fast or Lose. Your choice.

I know.. it's great isn't it.... but look at this way: RCBH made all of the users here hate him by saying the Civic is the king of the hill. I only made half of the users hate me by saying the Civic is the king of the dump.. I think you can call that progress...

I don't really hate Honda/Acura.. There are a few cars in their lineup that I wouldn't mind driving. It's just watching the whole scene deteriorate with idiots over the last 5 years that pisses me off. 5-6 years ago, street racing meant people actually with a passion for the sport and cars that match the passion. People that can actually hold a conversation properly about motorsports in general..

Nowadays, you see just about every POS possible. Even kids slapping a sticker and a fart can and showing up at the races acting all hardcore and . I guess RCBH falls into that category.. That's just bullshit..
