Car audio opinions needed.
I am searching for a nice deck which will do cd/mp3/dvd all in one...no screen!
I dont know a hell of a lot about what to look for so was wondering if any of you have what im looking for and how well it works.
Looking around the 4-500$ range.
I know we have some crazy systems in members cars on the site so thats who im hoping can help out or just anyone that knows of a good deck with those options.
Any help with makes and model would be great thanks.

Just remember... The decks from most manufactuers are all about the flashy lights and displays... and the useless options that no one ever really uses that are just their way of masking a so-so deck.
Alpine has been #1 for quality and sound for years upon years, and although they don't offer all the flashyness of another deck.. they focus on SQ and options that give the user the best control of their audio properites.
Plus if you're driving an amp through the pre-outs, out'll be glad to know that Alpine is one of the only companies that really ever get's close to the 4V signal.
Most decks from Kenwood, Pioneer, etc, only put out around 2V even tho they say it is a 4V preout. JVC's etc, but out even less.

I have no problem what so ever with alpine...i just find that all of there decks that do dvd have built in screens with them which i dont want.
That and there always seems to be add ons for alpine for basic extras.
I need model numbers people have seen so i can search for myself. I have yet to find a decent dvd deck that doesnt come with a screen.
