Between these 3 cars which one would you get??
Hey guys, looking at a couple of different cars at the moment and just can't seem to make up my mind. I've had way to many cars and always find a reason to get rid of them. I'm now ready to purchase a car for summer use only, I wanted to get some opinions on what all of you would pick and why. So if your so inclined let me know what car and why. I am still on a budget and as always price is a major factor for me.
1st car.
2000 Honda S2000
115,000km
$14000
2004 Nissan 350Z
140,000km
$14000
2000 Mustang GT
110,000km
$7900
all cars are Canadian cars and are accident free. If you had to choose what would it be??

it depends what you want, the mustang is a great car if you wanna be able to mod something cheap and go fast for pennies. the aftermarket is endless and its gonna be cheaper than any of the other listed cars. the s2k is garbage, its a gutless turd of a car that needs to be spun to infiniti and beyond to make any power and its cramped, the 350 is a great car, if you get one you need the one with the brembo brake package. this car wont be as cheap to mod as the stang but will beat it in the twisties plus it sounds cool as does the stang. also with the stangyour getting a pretty solid drivetrain, itll take a kicking over and over again and if it does blow it wont cost you your first born to repair it. tough choice, id personally get a g35 coupe with a 6 speed. all the fun of the 350 with the looks and the sophistication of a higher end car.

See I looked at the cars the same way, I figure the stang would take the most abuse and be the cheapest at the end of the day to drive, maintain and upgrade. The S2000 . . . turd? I like the analogy, and realise it would be the most expensive to make fast and if I ever needed a replacement motor it would cost me as much as another car. I picked the 350Z over the G35 because of the history behind Z cars, so simply because of the name. The Z would also cost alot to mod, also looking at the cost to purchase the car right from the get go is also a distraction. The stang seems the best bang for the buck, will i be happy with raw american muscle, or will i need the finese of a jap? Thanks for the replies.
Still deciding.

Being a roadster guy and always looking for more unpractical cars to drive, I would pick the S2000 For a summer car it would kick ***.
Other 2 are great for cruising around though. I'd take the Mustang over the Z though, as I like the older body styles and it's CHEAP.
What is it you want to do with these cars anyway? Just drive around? Track? Autocross?

I've got a daily driver and if I get one of those cars listed above I'll be trading in my Altima for a small SUV for winter (ie: CRV or Rav4, Ford Escape) I want to get the car to use in the summer, I keep buying cars but always end up with something thats "practical" but not what I want. Anyhow I thought to myself I'm never going to get something unpractical and fun, so since my Birthday is coming up, I figure i'm not getting any younger so i'd try and get myself to buy a car for myself. Now its just a matter of going out and actually spending the money.

the mustang will be fun, the newer ones dont handle too bad. i drive an 8 and i love it. first gear, second gear, i hammer the gas and the rear tires rost, i hit 3rd hard and la a good chunk of rubber in a relatively stock mustang. car is a blast to drive fun to beat up on and just an overall fun car to own. also if uyou ont mind spending a little more money you can find a stang 2k+ with some decent mods, headers exhaust even a blower if you shop around and itll still be cheaper than the 350.
and yes the s2k is a turd, theyre good on the track but they need to be revved to hell to make any power and the powerband is completely useless in them. in the stang ill drive around at idle in second gear, hamer the loud pedal and im laying rubber instantly. a jap car just wont offer that kind of thrill
bt i do like the 350, i got to drive my old bosses 350 and it was alot of fun, handled great and stopped on a dime. power wasnt bad either and they have a great tuned sound to them

also for a winter vehicle, make sure that if you get an suv it 4wd and not awd, especailly that automatic awd it doesnt work, something that lets you select 4 hi and 4 lo is what your after.
