Argos' Bernard Williams faces sex assault charge

Toronto Argonauts offensive lineman Bernard Williams has been charged with one count of sexual assault.
Toronto police today arrested Williams, 34, after receiving a complaint about an alleged assault that occurred on Tuesday.
“We believe in the presumption of innocence as Bernard faces this charge in the courts,” the Argonauts said in a statement. “If requested, the authorities will have our full co-operation for their investigation.”
“We will have no further comment on this case until the matter is concluded.”
Williams is from Jonesboro, Georgia.
