You obviously don't know anything about Hondas or else you would learn to get past the drivers and appreciate the technology that goes into those cars. This is just ignorance on your part. Sure, the Civic in it's stock form isn't the best thing out there, but with minimal work they can be amazing cars to drive because they are light and have a well designed suspension, not to mention a range of powerful engines can be easily bolted into them. I hate flashy Civics and cocky drivers but that doesn't mean I hate Hondas. You're just pissed off because you keep getting smoked by them, it's pretty obvious.

Whats funny is all you have to base your arguments on is hondas and no torque.
Whats funnier is you dont even realize that nobody talking in these threads even owns a honda.
And I still make 100 MORE lb/ft of torque than an 02 cav in my cars stock form, and its a japanese car. Stupid dumbestic owner. Lets not even get into modifications....

is it a civic?
No? Then why are you comparing a faster/more expensive car to a cheap j-body? Its like comparing a civic and a mustang.

Squaking is all about tires and clutch. I'v been in a 20 second 88 civic with 450,000km that squaked 4th!.. only because he had a performance clutch with shitty 13" tires.
I used to squak 3rd in my car with all seasons and now I can barely do 2nd with the Azenis tires.

Chirping a car into a gear isn't dependent on the amount of torque engine engine has so much as it depends on the engine speed your shifting from and the weight of your flywheel. When you put the transmission in a lower gear the engine has to match the same speed, but since it has so much momentum, the moment you put that power through the transmission, the tires breaks loose because it requires a lot of torque acting on the crankshaft to slow the engine down to the speed of the input shaft in the transmission. Think about it. How else do you think a Honda with only 116ft lbs of torque could chirp third? It's because that 15lb flywheel is spinning at close to 9000rpm and has to drop it's speed to ~6500rpm in a split second. Or at least thats how I've always looked at it. Why the hell do I always end up trying to explain everything.
