Good way to be. I just paid off both of my VISA cards and cut them into little itty bitty pieces. Never cancel credit cards you don't use, however. The amount of credit you have available VS credit you're utilizing has a significant impact on your credit score. People who have tons of credit cards and don't use them have less credit utilization, meaning their score will be better than the guy with one credit card loaded within a couple bucks of the limit.

I'm a finance nerd, eh.

But now I have another problem: (copied/pasted from another site)

Way to **** on my parade, Zales.

I was so excited to bring home that wedding/engagement set the other night, and I had her ring size so that they could order the correct size. I was gonna have to bring in the ones I have right now which are size 7's, and when the new ones came in I was gonna swap them out, since she's a size 3.75. No biggie, the salesman who sold me the rings in the first place said that once they were paid off they'd order me the correct size since they can't size them down that much because the diamonds on the sides would pop out.

So today I get a phone call from Zales saying they can't order any size smaller than what I have right now...They said the manufacturer is "pending the situation to order them in smaller sizes", and that this "pending" has been going on for about a year and a half. So my only option is to either wait it out for a few months and see if they change their minds, or go in there and pick out a new one.

Cool, not. I picked that one for a reason, it's the one SHE WANTED. Now I am gonna have to explain to her why she won't be wearing the ring she WANTED for the rest of her life. Way to **** on my parade Zales. Real cool. I wish you woulda told me this BEFORE I picked it out and started paying it off. I woulda taken my business somewhere else.

/rant.

Haha, you're my new best friend. Let's talk about beacon scores and TDSRs.
