Underdrive Pulley And Gears
Hey! I was just wondering if any of you have any comments on an underdrive pulley kit? I have been having a hard time trying to locate one for sale for the 3.8L V6 engine. All I see are the ones for the LT1 engines (anyone have a link to one for sale?).
Also what do you guys suggest for new gears? I have the stock 3.08 gears, and I would like to get a lil bit more acceleration without going overboard, as I drive this car everyday.
Thanks in advance,
Dustin

For the gears I'd get 3.42's if you plan on driving it on the highway.
I personally don't care for underdrive pullies. I have seen before and after dyno's with not even a 1hp gain on LS1's so I don't see the reason to spend all the money and time on one.

Agree, Underdrive pullies arent worth much at all....useless really. As for gears 3.42s are fine 3.7s are good....4.10s are awsome just ull be filling up alot more haha and a loss in top end. I had 4.10s but sold em im putting in 3.73s now for college reasons.
