I have a 1985 Camaro 700r4 and a 1988 Camaro 700r4, I think they are the Same.. the 1988 700r4 should bolt to a 1969 350 right? well anyway I want to rebuild 1988 700r4, which Lost 2nd gear, Thats just the clutches right? So a rebuild would cure that problem? Well, I am trying to Find a rebuild kit with Instructions and prob some pictures on how to do it.. Cause I am a Virgin at rebuilding Transmissions, Ive never rebuilt one and think its about time i tried.

I am sure theres someone here who has attempted to rebuild a 700r4.
