Spark Plugs and Wires

Like I've posted before my car is being well... gay and not running right. noone can figure it out and i can't drive it very far. People said To replace the plugs and wires. so i was wondering: How many plugs do i need? Who makes the best plugs and wires? its pointless to spend to much on something that will **** out on you in the same amount of time as the less expensive ones.

4 Cyl, 4 Spark plugs
6 Cyl, 6 Spark plugs
noticing a trend?

But yea. Unless youre going for performance, the OEM sparkplug will suit you just fine.

Its not a fun process with the stock manifolds with heat shields. It used to take me about 3 hours to do mine before I got my Pacesetters.

The LT1 is a V8 not a V6.

4th gen FBodies are not easy to do by any means. It really sucks because you get some from the top and others from the bottom. When spring comes around I'll change mine as well as my header gaskets. I am not looking forward to it by any means.

No big deal. A lot of people call it the LT1 style so I'm sure that's where you got it from.

I love all the people asking which engine you have when it's in the V6 section of the site.

Yeah but they weren't asking which V6 it had. They were asking what engine.

lol oops yeah i never look at what section it is in. my suggestions would be to not be afraid to get dirty haha. your going to have to stick your arms in tight places to be able to do this. when you're under the car wear safety glasses b/c you WILL get **** in your eyes if you dont. there is no possible way it would take 6 hours to change spark plugs. thats an hour a plug. there was only 3 or 4 on my car that took more than 10 minutes to do.
