short throw worth it?

I have had both the B&M ripper and the Hurst. I prefer the Hurst since it has a slight bend towards the driver.
The ONLY downside in havin a shorter shifter is that its a harder to get into reverse once and a while.
Thats just me though-

i haev the hurst shifter and thats it. a kid i know has a stock shifter. OMFG get a hurst. the stock shifter blows *** compared to the hurst. I dont know anything about the B&M ripper, but most people seem to like both. either way my hurst feels awesome compared to the stock one. I also plan on getting a short stick like Hllywd said, i felt Chad's one day when we met and it felt real good, like mine but there is a huge difference in the throw. its shortened incredibly with ana aftermarket shifter, and then incredibly again with a short stick.

You felt Chad's stick? That's not cool man...
But in all seriousness, Nick, with the red SS, had a Lou short stick and when I drove it, thows seemed really short on it.

Like Matt said I have a Hurst shifter with the Lou short stick and the leather Hurst **** on it. I love it!
I had it on my '94 and when I bought my LS1 I kept missing shifts because the throw was so long and the shifter felt so flemsy. I will absolutly NEVER own a stick without an aftermarket shifter.
