its stupid to get a short stick with a stock shifter. that would suck IMO. but Speed INC has short sticks for 30 bucks now i think.

why r short shifter bad for the tranny?
i hear there better cuz there not a sloppy and sh*t and most iof the reducetion in the throw is in the actual mechinism that is on the other side of the shifter

I have it and love it- I am pretty sure Chad will back me up on this!!

I tried the Pro 5.0 on my friend's 94 LT1 T/A, and did not like it at all. The Hurst is a much better shifter, and Lou's short stick isn't bad either.

the guy at Speed INC was saying how the hurst shifter sucks and everythign, and the PRO 5.0 is the way to go, but everyone ive talked to including myself loves the Hurst. i never had any problems with it and it feels amazing with a short stick such as the Lou's.

Really, never heard that. I know everyone has thier personal choice but I've never used a Pro 5.0 or the B&M Ripper.

Hasn't any one ever heard of SLP? They have the best short throw around, much better than the Pro 5 or B&M Ripper and I've used them all. I would go with SLP every time!!!!!
