is the o2 sensor the thing that connects to the exhaust under the car? if so that might be unplugged and is that a bad thing

yeah just take it in there and they'll scan it for you and tell you whats wrong it takes like all of 30 seconds

go to autozone not a shop, autozone or O'Rielly (if you have one) can scan for free no need to pay for it save that money to fix it
