Sealed beams, need opinons/answers
Ok so at work i had some free time so i was checkin out the bulbs, I'm thinking about buying xexon H7 bulbs and sealing them in the stock bulb housing, would this work? what else would i have to do? also what bulb should i use for the fog lights to even it out a lil with them then so they are both equally bright.

there aren't any bulbs that plug staright into the ta housing, your outta luck. unless you wanna spend like, 100 for the autooptics conversion. There's no bulb you can just plug in to the harness of a ta and make it work, sucks, but that's what happens. I actually did the foglight conversion today, I put 880ST Silvania Silverstars in my foglights and they're much brighter. I'm pretty sure it's the same number for a Formula.

not quite sure, I just looked it up in the little bulb book, and there is an 880 and an 880ST, the ST seems to be the brigher and white-er of the two, and the 880 is the longer lasting of the two.

yeah that would work, the problem is, the part that you plug into doesn't adapt to any of the backs of the any of the bulbs anyone makes, there's just prongs there, whereas all the bulbs have sockets.

well there's not so yeah. I had to buy H7 bulbs, buy Wagner H4703 housings, pull the bulbs outta the housings, silicon the H7's back in place, cut off the headlight socket on the headlights, and replace it with wiring and a female slide connector, then slide the connector onto the bulb prongs. bernotas, pm me and i'll give you the write-up for the conversion from stock bulbs to Silverstars in a 98+ Trans Am/Firebird.

I know this is for gp, but it works on pretty much any gm, instead of hacking the factory harness (killing value of the car if you want to sell it by the price of a whole harness at least)
