RPM's at Highway speeds?
Im just curious what everyone's car runs for rpm's at 65. My is around 3200 . Just curious if that sounds about right? Seems kinda steep for a 700r4.

I don't hit 2,000 until I'm going 85.
This is with a six speed and 3.42's.

Well, I figured it out. My tach that was in my car was calibrated for a v-6 :banghead: , so I put in an aftermarket under my cowl so I can keep the interior of the car looking stock, but I can still read the tach under the hood. Now it says that im at 2500 @ 75mph . Now all I need to do is get the tranny to lock up and I'll be set. Speaking of which, does anyone know or would recommend. I stopped into a local trannyshop and told them my problem about my tranny not locking up electronically. He said that he could get it hooked up electronically, he'd just have to drop the pan and see what wires were doing what. Or else he said that he could put in a hydraulic lockup so that the tranny wouldn't need any wires running to it period. If it was your car what would you do. Thanks for the input everyone.
