Recommended tires please

Need some help here guys. Seems my rear tires are ... a bit worn out. I think Jonas(TORCHD02TA) called them bald practically. =p I'm stuck on where to go. I've always gone for the cheapo tires, so I'm new to this tires stuff too. I've read a bit on some tires and narrowed it down to these:

http://www.nittotire.com/tires_450.asp

http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/fin...d=16&ar=50&ct=

http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/fin...d=16&ar=50&ct=

Are there any other good ones out there? I'm getting tires for daily driving. That is the MAIN concern. I'm in Chicago, so there's sometimes rain in the summer. I've seen these are good for that. But also, another concern is that it's also my daily driver in the winter. Hence.... the snow. So traction is a big issue for that. One day I will see the light of a track, but that isn't really a concern for me since I'll maybe do that 1 or 2 times a year, if that.

Thanks in advance guys.

Uli, for what you are looking for this might suit you. Kinda the best of both worlds and should be fine in snow.

The kuhmos are real good tires, I use to have them but had to be replaced they got bold. But they were awsome tires though I liked em. Now I have Cooper Zeons from Discount Tires very nice tread and there real good to.

I have the Kumho Ecsta ASX as my street tires. They work fine in the rain and snow, no issues other than driving a 5.7 liter rear drive V8 through the snow.

So I take it them Nittos are out of the picture then huh? =p

Good stuff about the Kuhmos and good stuff on the Goodrich ones... Dang, it's gonna be a tough choice. They offer some insurance for the tires, which I'll get, so I can do burnouts comfortably. =p

EDIT: How sure are you arch? Do you got a website that says this? Or reliable source? If it's true, then BF Goodrich ones it is!

burnouts will void the warranty (you can look at tires and tell if someone has done a burnout) since it not only wears the tire, but makes a radial tire break down

I've have serious problems with Kuhmo. The sidewalls tend to do that cancerous bubble thing after a while.

K. Thank you arch. I've had better reviews on the KDWSs, so I guess I'll be going with those. =)
