Question from new buyer
Hi, I am looking at getting a 1997 Z28 6-speed with 70k miles. The price is $7900, does that sound reasonable? Is there any specific known issues for this year Camaro I should search and look for when test driving? Thanks guys, I look forword to future posting here.

my car has 120k and its a 93. runs really good and the guy before me beat on it too. LT1 can really take abuse. the only thing i would make sure is that the opti and everythign is good. give it a good test drive and get it to running temperature and make sure it doesnt miss or anythign or bog down when u stand on it. check if the rear main leaks, because it prolly does just see how bad it is. if you like it and everything seems good then go for it. i would try to talk the guy down to 7 tho. good luck, show some pics if you get it.

well just make sure that it starts up well and drives smooth, these cars have an optispark instead of a distirubutor and sometimes they go bad and are kind a biatch to replace plus ther are expensive, other than that just check regular things: hows the clutch feel, brakes, condition of tires just normal stuff, good luck hope to cya here soon
