power window motor bad
my drivers side window wont go up or down now, i havent talked to my dad about it yet, but i was wondering if anyone knew how much a new motor is. also how hard would it be to change to manual windows, since i would kinda prefer the simplicity. do i have to change the tracks around and stuff? thanks

whole setup has to change, tracks may be able to stay, but it's a pain. New motor should be about $55 available at advance part number ACI 82460 for a new one clean teh tracks, check your wiring and grease the tracks

i might get one from autozone, both of mine are real slow, the ones i found online are OE replacements for 40 bucks each. but i got it to work again, it might be in the switch but idk. not sure yet. its fine for now cause at least the window is up. its kinda tempromental, but i havent realy messed with it. as soon as i got it up i was so happy that i parked it for the night and went inside. so i will see weather it is the switch/wiring, and when i get more money i will prolly jsut get two new motors.

Thats the way mine was the motor was shot but every so ofter i would push the button and it would go up a lil bit so i just drove around for a long while pushing the button every so often till it went all the way up.

Both mine are bad and neither work. Its a good thing I have T-Tops. I tried to fix them once but I cant get my hands in there. I think I am just gonna take mine to a shop to have them do it... I dont really like having a shop work on my stuff.

its a pain in the *** gettin the motor off, well atleast on my firebird it was, the holes in the door to reach up to take it out were really small and too far away from the motor, i barley was able to get at it.
