Heres a little trick I know. Get out a hammer and go hit your starter a couple times (no im not kidding) hit it rather hard. Then try and start it again. If it works then you have a bad starter. You can keep using the hammer method to start it for a couple weeks then it will probally stop working.

Cmon people, remember, this is a car, its not all that fragile. You dont want to know half of the things your techs do to your car while you dont see it. There isnt alot of 'finesse' involved.

yeah someone else i asked also told me to hit it with a hammer. im gonna try this later tonight if i get over there. good thing my y pipe is off it should make it easier to get to the starter. thanks for the help guys. you think i should save up and get a high torque starter or maybe a starter off ebay? or just go to advance and get a direct replacement. i really appreciate the help though guys.
