Need Repair...Need help

Ok, on the way from my house to my girlfriends house something happened to my car...here is all that i noticed...the car idles at about 8-900(not sure if normal), there is a grinding sound when i take off from a stop. When i put in put it in Overdrive it doesnt make a sound but when I inch forward and stop it makes the sound for a couple seconds...but then put in park it stops...when driving down road it doesnt make the sound as much...every once in the while...the car pulls to right more than it already did, the pefal feeling is bumpy, vibratesd some...before this happened since last year when i geot on the brakes the steering wheel would shake, so i think and hoping its just a wheel bearing that finally just gave out...i dont know...any ideas???

If it was a wheel bearing it would more than likely make that grinding sound at all times when the car's moving. It's kinda hard to know what it could be from the description. Does the grinding speed up or slow down, or does it change sounds, as in higher pitched as you go faster? Those grinding sounds are harder to trouble shoot when they're not steady.

So Tom, you mentioned before that you got pulled over for your right turn signal being out.....what was the problem with it?

i think it sounds like it could be a problem with the brake caliper or pad on the side that its pulling to the grinding sound might be it grindig against the pad or something and when your going faster it is making the sound more often so it doesnt stand out as much but when your going slower it stands out just because it is going slower lol not a gread explination but its something and if it is just brakes it should be an easy fix

a wheel bearing doesnt grind. it whines. the sound is most likely brakes. just take the wheels off and check, brakes are the easiest thing to diasnose.

don't be so sure, the wheel bearing on the gp was grinding like brakes (even with teh caliper off the car and spinning by hand you could hear the grinding)
