My little 3.4L is soon to be an LT1. Please read I have a question.

Hey all. So I've had my 3.4L for 3 years, this was my 1st car, and I've done everything to it myself. I tore the motor down and rebuilt it 2 years ago. Each year putting on more additions. I Love my little 3.4L But i feel its time to move onto the bigger motor. I got a great deal on an LT1 and Harness. I'm 95% sure i can do this swap, and if i needed any help I have at least 3 people who are willing to stop by and help me. This is what i am getting and I just want to make sure my F body can make the change from a V6 to a V8.

1 Lt1 Motor
1 ECU
1 Wire Harness
1 A One Peice Drive shaft
1 Intake w/ MAF
1 Z28 rear end ( Posi rear )
1 150mph Speedo

I already have the Chasis, 4L60e Trans, with a transgo shift kit installed, but It feels like I am missing something. I will buy an aftermarket exhaust from the block back. Anyone know of something else I may need to complete this project?

get ready to spend at least a grand more than your planning.lol. there is ALWAYS more. sorry but its the way things roll. example i always use is my 300 dollars headers that turned into a 1000+ dollar project after i got everything i needed.

i've done alot of research on this same swap. I think though if i read right you wouldn't need the 150 speedo. you only need the engin compartment wiring for the V8 not the dash.

I do need a 150 speedo, i could make it with a pen an paper it wont effect the engine, just effect the speed i THINK i am going and the tach will be off. I don't need it... But want the job done correctly and I want to know when i'm going 10mph... or 40 mph. Know what i mean lol.

Oh an about spending 1k over what I plan. Haha, I know about that unwritten rule. I'm getting the motor for a great price from a buddy. He has 2 of them I am considering buying both. I will put an lt1 on my bicycle or something...
