My gas gauge doesn't work. How can I get it fix?

Well, im going to be giving you some news you arnt going to want to hear.
You either A) Have a bad instrument cluster, or B) Bad fuel pump sending unit.
The cluster means you'll have to put a whole new gauge cluster in it (if you want it OE, you'll have to buy one new and have the mileage changed by GM) and if the sending unit is bad, you'll have to put a new fuel pump in it, and it takes around 4 hrs labor and at least $225 for parts.
I personally would just keep up with my gas status with my odometer.

You pretty much have a degrading stage of what I just told the other fellow, its just a short instead of being completely bad. So the same advice would go towards you as well.
