manual fan switch

i want to wire a manual switch to turn my cooling fan on and off when i need to can anyone tell me how to wire it

its a 96 camaro where is the relay at for the fan

I just spliced into the wires at the fan and ran it to a switch mounted in the console; but if you do it that way I don't think it will turn on automatically.
