Post Looking for a good electric cutout.

Anyone know a company that makes a good cutout that can actually last? Only brand I know of is QTP and I hear their units are junk in the long run.

Good luck and I have heard all the problems they've had with their motor's and their customer service.

After doing some searching it seems DMH makes a great unit and it comes with 4 years free replacement.

It is a common myth that a cut-out will add hp. Kennedy told me that f-bodies don't really respond well to cut-outs..dont seem to make the power people think they do..

I would save your dough for another mod..

must be like the GP's people change exhaust and wonder why they lost power, the stock exhaust flows as well as most aftermarket, and better than some popular ones

cut outs will not increase the performance on an fbody that much, headers, gears and a good cam will do fine.
