thanks chad. i cant wait either. ive really gotten off my *** the past 2 weeks and tried to get as much as i can done but its been so cold its hard to do anything. i only need about 150 dollars worth of stuff to get my car on the street again and than about 60 hours labor lol. i decided to just prime it and have it professionally painted when i get the cash b/c i dont like painting as much as i thought i would. it would be a lot better if i had a booth than maybe i could enjoy it but doing it in my basement isn't healthy.

The best part about your car is that when it's all together and back on the street is knowing that you did the work yourself. Anyone can write a check and have some stranger at a shop do it but you have the pride of doing it yourself.

more pics of what i got done tonight. the spoiler that mounts on the trunk and the door gfx were near perfect and im not respraying those. everything else i found a bunch of little imperfections that needed attention so i went ahead and fixed all of those with some spot putty and or sanding. the rear bumper was a disaster. i had bad runs on one side where i didn't have a lot of light to see it and when i sanded it it all cracked and i had to fix a crack that had been there that was all the way through also while i was at it. haha also dont ever mix paint in plastic cups. so yeah just pics of some more progress....haha i could so work at maaco.
