Internal 350 parts

I about to start getting parts for my 350. I would like some opinions on what I should get I have a friend two houses down with a ford lighting said he would really like to help my he is in his later 30's so It will be great to have someone with some experence to help. I might down the road put nitrous on it and he said it would be a good idea to get better rods is this true I found this that look pretty good or is this over kill?? also the stock crank how will that hold up??

Connecting rods

Do you think these are overkill?

no such thing as overkill when youre dealing with the internals. stronger is always better.

When I get the rebuild kit should I spend the extra money and get the forged pistions?? I think down the road I would like to put about a 75-100 shot on it. would forged rods and pistions and a summit rebuild kit sound strong enouf for somethink like that??

the thing with forged is don't expect a long life from the block and it will knock when cold (forged pistons have alot of slap and heat expansion) those are fine rods, I would use hypereutectic pistons for most stuff that's street use (not just racing)

Well I just got done (for tonight G/F called I am not allowed to work on the car while on the phone with her ) working on getting all the electrical and hoses and lines off and label. I got the radatior (spelling?), fans, fuel lines, most of the electrical conections unpulged and label . I still have the power steering, a few ground wires and alternator wires to get unpluged and label. But it is coming, I am taking my time casue I don't want to break anything while I am taking it apart! I tried to take some pics but the batterys were died in the camara :banghead: . So I will post some soon hopefully if I have this weekend off it will be coming out but I don't think I will have this weekend off I will not know till tomarrow
