hey guys i installed my hurst billet plus shifter this morning it took me about an hour, the shifter gives u way shorter shifts and a more kind of metal on metal shift due to the loss of the rubber dampaner ( sp?) on the stock shifter which creates a more mushy feel. the shifter also has real firm springs which allow the shifter to self center and really help fro 2nd to 3rd shifts because it virtually alligns perfectly into the 3rd gear spot when shifting out of 2nd. it also has gear stops to prevent internal transmission damage. i also installed a hurst brushed alluminum t handle, i really like this because it deff gives me better handleing when shifting plus it adds a custom look . when installing this i added some thread lock. check out the tutorial section to see how to install this shifter in your 93-97 6 speed

that's the same shifter I have except I bought the Lou short stick as well so I have really short throw throws

cool ill have to check that out can u send me some pics of how it looks wiht the lous ss, does the ss sit in the same position as the hurst billet plus?
