I may need a cap and rotor, why are these damn things over $300.00????

I may need a cap and rotor, why are these damn things over $300.00????

Help, I just called my local parts store and they say the cap and rotor kit are over $300.00 we think that it might be getting moisture in it and causing my car to run like crap when I first start it up, because after a few mins. my car will run fine. i'm guessing moisture drys up. NOTE:

the car idles perfect and always starts up fine. But as soon as you put it in gear and try to go anywhere after it sits overnight, you have to rev it up to about 4grand to be able to move the thing. like it is firing on 4cyls. anyway any help or advice on where to find cheaper parts is always a plus. thanks,

Mainly because there is nothing else you can put in there. Its not like a typical 350 where there are a hundred different companies who make distributors for them.

If you have to get one, buy the MSD one.
