Yeah, http://ftpp.net and www.texas-speed.com are the best deals. Are you going with painted or ceramic coated?

Ceramic Coated Steel Header - 3.8L on the fttpp.net website for 338.71$ , Is that for the 2 of them and the middle pipe? One last thing if i get thoughs it says it comes with gaskets and hardware. So i won't need to buy anything else ?

if you get them off tsp.com you can get them cheaper... not to knock ftpp cause he has good customer service, but i found them cheaper on tsp. I got the locking header bolts also... A couple of mine still backed out... dunno if i dont know how to screw bolts in or what. I was kinda dissapointed since they are supposed to lock.

when you have to put them in do you have to lift the engine or do you go in from underneath, or do you do something with the subframe....... can you guys give me an example on how your supposed to do it just a brief example

lol ya.
No you dont have to lift anything, but you do it from underneath. 70% of the work is getting the old stuff off. From there its a breeze. Taking off the heatshields, and manifolds is really gay... I hated doing it, and it took forever.. doesnt look like everything would fit in/out the bottom, but it does.

There is a good write up on a header install on www.turbov6camaro.com I would go a read his step by step. I wouldn't go through FTPP though, but thats just me, I placed one order with him and got screwed, other people seem to have faith in him, but not me. Go ahead and get you a 3in hi-flow cat while you are at it. They are pretty cheap. Good luck with the install.

Make sure you get a cat with the right diameter. That was my biggest mistake... the cat I got was the same exact diameter as my y-pipe so I had to expand it over the y-pipe... Now I have a couple leaks from there that I still need to fix. So find a good one.

I just curious, what are you expecting to get out of the headers btw?
Are you looking for power? sound? or what really?
Most people that get headers for a 3.8 or 3.4 are typically disappointed and would have rather spent money somewhere else.
Although if you were going for a top end horsepower car, I would recommend getting them for that few extra horses.
