Exclamation Has my vats gone bad on my 93 z28

It has given me probs since the beginning, but now the car won't start, every once in a while it will try but the starter just hits, good battery full charge, my vats was redneck bypassed and my car doens't even have the key with the chip, just a plain old gm key, security light always on, should i bypass the vats again, or has it fried my ignition switch and how would i test my ignition switch??
