Got some money to blow need ideas

Ok I have about 1000 right now to just blow all out on the T/A I'm debating these are the options that i've come up with so far.
1) Exhaust: Custom built Y-pipe, electric cut-out, flowmaster
as well as a LT-4 Intake
2) fix my pass. side GFX
3) Hood
4) Wheels and tires
5) Nitrous
6) Light head work
7) Camshaft

give me your thoughts and if anyone has put a LT-4 Intake on their LT-1 tell me your thoughts about it. and anything else you think i can get done for a grand.

well i priced wheels and for what i want American Racing Torque series 17's with some BFG KDW rubber i'm looking at 1700 i was floored i can get 16's for about 1300 still to much so wheels and tires are out of the question. I'd really like to do nitrous but the motor does have 119XXX on it so i'm kind unsure i don't want to fry any rings and crap. I'm pretty sure i'm gonna either do the exhaust or save up and get the LT-4 package from summit. probaly exhaust cause then i'll have a little bit left over and i can get some brand new tires instead of the $25 dollar pair i'm gonna be putting on this weekend

oh and as to gears i was wondering that cause i know that the stock rear-ends are junk if i were to put a set of richmond gears in there does that strengthen the rear-end or do they still blow out if you put a 1/2 decent amount of power to it like bone stock units do?

dont get gears just yet. an exhaust would prolly be best right now and dont worry about nitrous on that motor. it will be fine. theres a lot of guys with 150k runnin 200 shots on stock bottom ends. LT1s work awesoem with nitrous. you can run like a 100 or 125 shot with a stock motor and stock fuel system. when u go to 150 shot you gotta be careful but it just depends, some people get away with it some dont. i would do a complete exhaust system first and see what you have left.

that thing would haul *** like you wouldn't believe, when you get into that price range you could also consider forced induction

Stay away from the LT4 conversion, the heads and intake are good but the hotcam is way to small. IMO one of the best budget setups I have seen is Edelbrock heads with a CC305 cam (CC306 if you want some more juice). This setup will give you great performance and at the same time the car will have good street manners.
