Found/Fixed my Rear end problem

Well after all those problems with the sqeeking...it turns out my Differential Clutch was making noises, the dealership, free of charge put in a additive that has made the noise go away...wow after all this drama of my rear end it turned out to be as small as this...luckily it wasnt bearings and seals in the rear again

yeah mine was super noisy.. it was either that i added posi additive, or they finally adjusted, but they are silent now.

I would hope they wouldn't have charged you...its a simple fix and the bottle of fluid you can get at any parts store for $5.

no leaks, it seems like it does this when it runs for a while, I talked to the guy at the dealership and he said they have flushed it three times and have added the fluids + additives and it puzzles them why it still makes noise, he said it could be that when they took apart the axles and ect that metal shavings could have gotten caught inside of them and thats whats causing it, or either the clutches are going bad...i guess there are 13 or 14 of them in there...so this could go either way, they guy is going to talk to the head mechanic and see whats up, he told me to give it a few more days to see if there are any improvements or whatever and if not to come back...which will prob whats going to happen. Yea im pretty much puzzled on this one.

it won't get better, they either didn't flush it (which is why there would be shavings left) or hoped to patch it long enough to get you out of their hair (we called it brooming the car)

I would just try another bottle of the GM additive. Although I have a 12 bolt with an Eaton 33 spline HD diff, it gets noisy almost every year and it needs two bottles of the GM stuff which shuts it up for another year. It only makes noise on turning it slowly like if you are parking it or something.

the check valve on the pumps keep failing, so it makes it were it wont hold fuel pressure...Why these check valves keep breaking...it's beyond me.
