blown headgasket

if you want a shop to do it its going to cost around 1-2 grand. my headgasket blew a year or two ago and thats about what it cost. if you did it yourself it would be much cheaper. all you'd need is new gaskets and such. i'd say around 200 to do it yourself. oh and the time of course.

I had that problem before, took me a 1.5 day's of working pretty much straight to finish the job. Paid less than $400 for parts too If you don't do all your own work pay someone to do it because it's a HUGE job. It would be easier to do an engine swap.

you dont know the whole job. it started with an overheating problem. so that 2 grand included a new radiator, heater hoses, water pump, head gaskets, and all the other goodies, plus labor and a 12 month warranty.
