Arch - Your knowledge wanted...
Stopped a dealer today, selling a 79 Camaro Z28. So far(we are going to thouroughly inspect it Monday if all goes well at Ryan's job - don't ask) it looks to be of okay condition. The body has some rust spots, but they are very small, and they are only minor surface rust to a little worse(no holes or anything). Paint is a glossy black, but older(has been repainted at some poin in its life). Interior is in relatively good condition, a little faded, a few tears, typical wear for a 26 year old car. The engine - 350 with some work, lots of new parts(this thing shines) but is missing the parts needed to get it inspected i.e pollution parts/accessories. Manual aftermarket transmission(from what we could tell). Asking $3500. I'll find out more about the engine and stuff Monday when we (hopefully) go back to talk to the guy that knows more about it.

that's not bad for his, the '79 is gaining in popularity, especially becasue of availability of the early cars it's teh '74 to'77 that are really cheap (I still like the chrome bumper though)
