Am I paranoid or is my car wasting away...
OKay, so my car has been in the garage for the past month or so and I check on it every now and then. Anyway, I wiped it down today with a soft towel and I saw a couple small chips in the winshield and tiny little chips of paint on the hood. There was even a little 4 inch long ridge of the 1st layer of paint chipping off on both sides of the hood near the windshield.
OKay, there is some construction going on outside my house and it is really dusty right now, but I sealed my garage pretty tight. Where I found the chips there was speckles of dirt around them.
So I'm wondering if anyone knows of ANY sort of paint/windshield eating dust/chemicals that could be found in older garages (really old, old wood, etc) or in construction outside. I'm just really upset about this! But then agian, I might not of just noticed the chips before. Someone tell me if I'm just paranoid!! .... I'm kinda hoping I'm just paranoid, cuz otherwise I'm scared as F leaving my car in that garage any longer!!
THANKS!

23 years old? I think I got you ... My house was built in 1924. *busts out the calculator* ... That's 81 years old. Haha... but I'm not sure if the garage is that old.
Anyway, I came to the conclusion that I'm just paranoid. I'm leaving for college (Washington STate University) TODAY, actually, and then I might bring my car down in a month or 2. Throw that Lingenfelter intake and rumbler exhaust on it. Mmmm...
