Alternator fried up.

Yea well I kept hearing this rattleing sorta noise in the engine and was like...*shrugs shoulders* so this past friday before work thought Id go to the mall. So i picked up my friend and got to a stop sign and the car cut off and wouldnt start. Tried jumping the car with cables and still didnt help..So had the battery tested and the battery was fine so I came back to my car and we tried to jump start it again and it started right up then Smoke shot directly out from the alternator so i shut er down quick. Alternator fried up and burnt alittle of the belt. So i replaced both of them right there on the street. I bought a rebuilt alternator for like $108...I always use Gatorback belts $29..Now im running good.

We havnt had too many of the rebuilt ones we sell at work come back, a few that were defects from the factory thats about it. We sell mostly the palladium remans.

Yea and what sucks is that day when I got the new belt also the dumbasses gave me the wrong belt and when I took it back they were measuring it and everything then i turned there computer screen around and showed them that the item stock number was wrong. They were like "oh....durrrr"

Now the sh*t is sqeeling abit and it cant be the belt said that the belt tensioner does that. time to replace that.
