Cool All planned out....Questions

Alright well i've had my car since march and i got my body kits done.....my berger panel appointment is next week some time......

I think right after august once wheni find them i will get my rims.... im going with american racing TT's but i am going to get them that dark grey like danielle's.....

Hopefully before winter i will get my hood.... i am starting to like how the Cowl induction hood i guess its called, the same one chad has, i like how that looks now, alot. So i am not sure whether to go with that or the SS...i lost interest in the ultra Z so

Few questions though.....if i go 17" what backspacing am i going to need is it still 5"......i know the bolt pattern is stil the 5 x 4.75 or whatever it is...and the offset i know too but backspacing is now where the problem lies

Regarding the hood i only have the v6 and i dont really want to give any
wrong impressions with my car or make it look like i hve someting i don't if i get the 4" cowl i think it is (hopefully you guys understand that).... just trying to make it look attractive and aggresive even though it may not be aggresive as a ls1 or lt1

u should just get the hood u want, just cause u have a cowl hood doesnt meen u needed it to fit a big engine in there i dont think peopel would think that IMO and if u dont want people to think u have a v8 then just get some v6 badges

i checked out that vfn thats posted on the thread abotu the SS hood.......4 inch or 2inch ?and should is ther a better place to get them then there ?

I think if you are going to do the SS, do the bigger one. It will help set your car apart more. But if you like the cowl more, then get it. Get whatever hood you like the best, or you will most likely regret it. As for the TT's in the same color as mine.. you can't buy them that way. They do make TT's in a gray, but they are flat gray. To make them the same color, you will have to paint them or powdercoat them.
