About to jump into the nitrous game, just have a few questions.
I have been reading threads upon threads and doing research on more brands then I would like to count. Basically my situtation is this, the nearest 1/4 mile track is a long drive away from my home so I'm looking only to run a light shot on the street. At the most I will run a big shot (at least a 100 shot) maybe once or twice a year. I have decided to go with a dry kit mainly because of how simple the kits actually are to install and run. What I was wondering is that with such low a shot (50-75 shot) am I safe running the stock hardware in my car? With such a small shot I was hoping to be able to use my stock injectors and plugs.
BTW this is the kit a I was looking at. http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...?idproduct=118
Cheap, effective, and to the point, what do you think?

only question i have is why do you think wet is more complicated? the wet kits they make for LT1s are very straihgt forward. the guy who had it in my car took it out in about 20 minutes. i would imagine install on a new car would only take about an hour, and they are very safe. just wondering...

Supporting mods are here, just not installed. The reason I like dry over wet is that it is more simple of an install for a beginner and once you add in window switches and a FPSS it is just as safe as a wet setup. I have never been a fan of the way a wet setup tends to distribute fuel unevenly through the engine.

alls i know is most wet kits for LT1s are simple as a brick to install. plus you can run the fpss and window switch on wet kits and its pretty much fool proof. just my thoughts but im sure you will be fine and everything will be good. good luck, post some pics when its done

Ive been lookin at dry systems also. And from what Ive read also, supposedly stock stuff should be able to handle up to a 125 shot maybe with some tuning a little higher. I like the dry halo sys at
Nitrousoutlet
Good idea on the breath-in breath-out upgrades. Also look into a bottle warmer.

Of all the kits TNT seems to be the best, they run a little rich to be on the safe side plus they make more tq than any other kit. They cost a little more but they don't cheap out on the different parts either.

NAWZZZZZZ RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My cousin had put a NOS wet kit on this car before I bought it from him, but he never even filled the bottle. He had taken it off to trade the car before I decided to buy it, so I did not get the kit. Its at his house whenever I come up with the money. I raped him on the price of the car, so I figured I shouldn't press my luck any more on trying to get it wit hthe car .
