Original 1989 Dodge Colt 200 gt turbo ***PICS***
I originally bought it back in July with hopes of doing a 4g63T swap (Eagle Talon motor). I had planned to have the project completed by the end of August but due to circumstances out of my control, things kept getting delayed. Now that school has started (I'm a full-time university student), I have absolutely no time to work on it.
DETAILS: This is one of only 250 Dodge Colt turbo's brought into Canada in 1989, the only year of their production. They are extremely hard to find and it took me over a year to source this one. The car has roughly 215,000 km on it, yet the engine is very strong and the tranny shifts smoothly. It drives great and hasn't let me down yet. The following NEW parts have been installed recently: fuel pump and cradle, gas tank and fuel lines, injectors, battery, MPI relay, windshield, new tires in factory size 195/60-14.
The paint on the car is starting to fade and could use a respray. It has one rusted dogleg and rust on one corner of the hatch but the underbody is in great condition. Aside from that, the car needs only minor things.
***A BRAND NEW turbo axle and lower tie rods were installed last week.***
The car will also come Emission Tested. I really want to see the Colt go to a good home and not be parted out. Its a perfect candidate for a 2.0 L 4g63T swap which is a direct bolt in.
Asking: $1500 CAN
