FS rare 89 original turbo colt
Not sure on price, $3500 would be nice. Driven 500Kms last year for two weeks while i was waiting for my subaru to be ready.
Otherwise, hasnt been driven since 05.
I only drove 1 winter since i bought it in Nov 2001. Had 224K km on the clock back then, has 245K km now.
It is just sitting in my garage covered. I honestly wont have time or money to drive it for another couple of years due to renovations once again.
I love the hatchback, but it is a heatscore since it looks like a honda and cant be bothered with cops anymore.
It honestly only needs a clutch if you are going to track it. Around street roads, the clutch holds up well, its the tires that give in first.
4g61t w/ 20K kms on rebuild.
ported 14B turbo
1g dsm Mafs, ecu and 510cc injectors
also have 1.6 eprom ecu
2g mafs available with 1g to 2g harness adaptor
2.5" alumunized turbo back exhaust, w/ cat bypass valve, and no across the back muffler, its straight out the rear end.

Greddy EGT
all gauges in autometer gauge cups

HKS super AFR
Sprint springs on KYB AGX struts for a 90-94 awd t/e/l.

They did only in 89, only 1600 made and shipped to the north america (US and Canada combined), the turbo motor, 4g61t, a 1.6l version of the talon/eclipse 4g63t 2.0l motor, was only available in the hatchback body.
In 1990, Mitsubishi dropped the turbo hatch option, and shipped even less numbers of the sedan with the non turbo'd motor, the 4g61.
Both rare c50's came with rear disk brakes, and easily accept the 4g63t motor. Pretty much a straight drop in and straight plug and play. More info found at Redirecting...
Many guys in the states are doing the awd conversion as well, using awd dsm donor cars.
In 90, the dsm was introduced, and was only available in north america.
This colt is very easy to find performance parts for as it is basically a dsm.
Car weighs 2450lbs without driver, and full interior(stock).
The 4g6x motor swap can also be done to older colts and colt minivans, and hyundai excels/elantra and sonatas.
This car is a factory original turbo model, which i have slightly modified over the years since i bought it stock in 2001(took 4 years at the time to finally come across one), There are only a couple hundred of these running around now, 20 years later.
I will miss the car, but oh well, time to move on. I am letting someone else get to terrorize the streets/track with it.
End of rambling.

The dash carpet came from a california turbo colt i had for a short time till i sold it. Kept the dash carpet cause these cars are brutally known for cracked dashboards. Mine is like new, go figure that carpet helps.
It doubles as a velcro pad too, just have to get the stiff side of velcro sticky pads for whatever you want to sticky on there.
Dash carpet is now included with the sale of the car.

I do my own tuning on my own cars as far as getting them driveable. I have a pocketlogger and along with the EGT sensor, i can control fuel by using the HKS Super AFR.
It has never been dynoed, but others with a similar setup have seen 200-225hp at the least.
As i listed above, i have it set to 18-19psi boost. Stock boost is 10psi.
