Fs/ft: 1992 Jdm Honda Civic (eg9) Sir-ii Fiero Edition *** Rare ***
********* ONLY ONE IN CANADA ***********
ONLY 109,000 original kms / Never seen winter (until now) / Not one spec of rust
Up for grabs is a rare, one of a kind 4 Dr, 4 seater Japanese Honda Civic with a OBD 0 B16A motor standard!
What you’re looking at is a 1992 production model Honda Civic SIR- Fiero Edition.
This will make either an excellent collector or project car for the true Honda fan!
Along with all your quality standard Honda amenities, this special edition Civic also adds the B16A motor with a 8,200 rpm redline, a sport tuned suspension, short ratio 5-speed manual transmission, LSD, fog lights, spoiler, a high end factory stereo system developed by Gathers (Alpine/Kenwood) which includes 8 speakers, am/fm tape, cd changer (not working), 8 band equalizer.
This vehicle was purchased directly from the original owner who has had this car since new with all maintenance done through Primo Honda (Japan Honda Dealership). This car has never seen rust or been in an accident. I have the original manuals and 4 keys (2 originals)
This vehicle is currently registered and insured in the province of Alberta and was my summer daily driver. There is no maintenance currently required and won’t need anything for a long time to come.
The car is 100% stock and in its original condition with no after-market modifications. The car is currently sitting parked in my underground parking with no intention to drive this in the winter although I have put new winter tires on crappy after-market rims just in case. This car has never seen winter and would like to keep it that way. I have some mint 15” oem style 5 spoke rims for the summer that will be included with the car.
Looking for $8,500 or trade of similar value.

Thank you sir...
I should also mention in case people are wondering, I am in Calgary and have no problem driving this car down to you as long as my gas & hotel is paid for up front. I'm not worried about hotel in Toronto, just on the way to. My family lives in the Beaches so I would just stay them.

Thanks for the kind words sir...
If this thing was in any better shape for a 1992 car, it would be coming straight off the assembly line.
The one thing you can't notice is the original paint is mint however the clear coat is almost non existant so stone chips on the front bumper and hood would over time need to be dealt with. Whoever takes this over I would highly recommend investing in a paint job with in the next couple of years. I noticed this small issue driving back from Vancouver to Calgary through the beautiful rockies. I have to say that was one of my best drives ever in my history of drives.
Price is always negotiable but lets not get carried away. I really think I would just like a different car so lets see some trade offers folks.

If your attempting to catch me in a lie then I am sorry to disappoint you...
This was the first Canadian registered EG9 SIR as per Transport Canada (have family there)
None the less thanks for bringing it to my attention and I hope it looks as good as mine. Checked totaljdm's website and couldn't find anything but regardless why would I need to contact him? I'm attempting to sell one not buy one.
Cheers,

^^^^^your an idiot with way too much time on your hands...and as for the car for sale, i must say that is one of the most mint cars i've seen in a while, you can tell it's well taken care of and that you didn't just throw some shiny dash crap to make it look good for the pictures..Goodluck with sale worth every penny!
Thanks for the positive comment sir...
Surprisingly I have not had any offers of purchase or trade for that matter.
Come on folks, everybody likes it but nobody wants it? Give me a trade offer? Honestly I'm just boared and want to try something new. Show me what you got... These civic's with K20 motors interest me

That cameout wrong. Regardless he is selling it , sadly it is a late 93 EG9 thus making it not "legal" people have there ways around that.
Def not as mint as yours.
does yours have the big armrest console that goes roght to the back?
Anyways, nice car.

Actually, thanks for reminding me... This car does have the armrest that goes all the way through as its for the 6-disk cd changer that is part of the Gathers system. The changer does not function anymore though but will be included. I have tried to revive it with no luck. Still very cool though because it uses the standard 9-pin din cable so all you would have to do is grab a 6 disc changer of eBay (I doubt you will find a changer at the stores) and drop it in to the armrest and away you go.
This system which was a joint venture between Alpine and Kenwood pumps pretty good for a factory system back in the early 90's.
I also have a radio frequency expander that I will be including with the sale. This enables you to continue to use the factory radio which traditionally would only ever go to 89.9 mhz (if my memory is correct)
