Lease Take-over or Cash Buyout of 2009 Toyota Yaris RS 5-door hatchback meteorite grey metallic.

The Yaris was leased from Burlington Toyota with the intention of buying it out at the end of the lease, but the situation in our family has changed and we no longer need it.
We put a deposit of $3661.86 on the Yaris as a down payment to reduce the monthly payment. Along with Rustproofing, Tint, Stoneguard,Toyota winter mats, & Touch-up pen that were paid for separately aside from the deposit, there is alot of value in this vehicle. It is not affected by the Toyota recalls.

Regarding a Lease Take-over, all that is involved is the prospective leasee attends a Toyota dealership and fills out a credit application. Once approved, I pay a transfer fee of $400 and the paperwork is completed changing the leasee from my wife and I to the new leasee. A Safety will also have to be done at our expense.

The details of the lease are as follows:

36 months lease term

24,000km per year, 72,000km total. Currently 13,400 kms.

Lease began on September 19th 2009, approximately 27 months left.

Excess KM penalty $0.07/km.

Monthly payment: $249.30 before tax, $281.71 taxes in.

End of lease buyback option: $9876.00

Regarding a cash buyout right now, the prospective buyer would attend a Toyota dealership where the buyout process would take place. My wife and I would again be responsible for the $400 transfer fee cost and a Safety on the Yaris.

The cash buyout price as of this date is $16433.00 plus GST/PST for a total of $18570.00.
