1999 VW Passat GLS V6
- no accidents
- UVIP in hand
- second private owner (other 2 owners were dealerships)
- bought from a dealership
- everything is original (nothing has been modified with the exception of the JVC deck and xenon bulbs)
- maintenance always done on time
- synthetic oil change and brake pads done every 4,000km
- used only Sunoco Ultra-94 fuel
- very sleek, classy, and mysterious (gets a lot of attention everywhere it goes)
- 151,000km (mileage is original)
- 190hp/210tq 32-valve 2.8L V6
- quick smooth acceleration
- great on gas
- factory padding almost completely removes engine and exterior noise from the inside cabin, offering a very comfortable driving and enriched music experience
- sharp yet smooth European handling
- 5-speed automatic/tiptronic transmission (really fun car to drive)
- black triple-coated paint exterior (as standard with all Audis)
- black leather heated seats
- rear arm rest and folding seats (allowing for huge trunk space)
- power moonroof (with a fancy **** controller)
- power steering (tilt/telescopic)
- power locks
- one-touch power windows (with child safety lock)
- power side mirrors
- power gas tank
- power trunk (the trunk in European cars is considered as another door, so it opens and closes automatically with all the other doors)
- a/c and heater work perfectly
- backlight for dash and all buttons is a soothing European violet colour
- has all the creature comforts expected in a European luxury sedan
- shares many parts and designs with the award-winning Audi A4
- new timing belt, spark plugs, engine wiring, gas filter, oil filter, synthetic Mobil1 oil change, brakes, rotors, and catalytic converters (have all receipts to prove)
- just spent $480 on a new passenger door handle, $380 on 4 new Toyo all-season tires (very good tread), and $800 on two new Magnaflow stainless steel catalytic converters (complete with piping down to the exhaust)
- a fresh undercoat has been done on the car
- 3" motorized JVC DVD/CD/MP3 deck
- premium 8-speaker Monsoon stereo system
- 6,000K H.I.D. xenon low-beam bulbs (with halogen high-beam bulbs) for headlights
- stock 15" alloy rims
- factory alarm and keyless entry
- all manuals included
- factory tape deck and halogen low-beam bulbs included
- comes with switchblade remote key and spare key
- e-tested and certified
- this car is guaranteed to be entirely trouble-free, and you are welcome to take it to your mechanic for inspection prior to purchase
- no test pilots please (serious buyers only)
- price is $8,500 O.B.O. (I know the market very well, so don't try to lowball me)
- I also accept trades for cheaper, more economical student cars, mainly JDM and DSM rides such as the Civic/Integra/Accord and Talon/Probe respectively
I saw A LOT of Passats before I bought mine and I know the kind of bastards out there, who are trying to get rid of their troublesome cars. I am not like that though. This car honestly has nothing wrong with it and will run flawlessly for another 100k if you do its routine maintenance. I am only selling it, because I am 18 years old and I do NOT NEED to be paying so much insurance and gas every month to drive a European car and LOOK COOL. In fact, I got this car when I was still working at Best Buy. Now that I have switched jobs and am not getting paid merely as much, all my paychecks are going towards gas and insurance! Evidently, this car is not for me. However, I want it to go to a good home.
Please PM me with all your offers or send them via email to da_semen_demon@hotmail.com. Pictures will be up some time soon. Thanks!
