1993 Camaro Z28 with new 383
Unfortunately, due to a new baby on the way I'm going to have to sell my 93 Camaro ASAP. This car was built over the past 2 years and I'm going to hate to see it go, but I have to get rid of it. This car is an honest mid 11 second car that could be used as a daily driver.
The car is a 1993 Camaro Z28 M6 with 83K original miles. The car is burgandy with the two tone black/gray interior, has T-tops and is in excellent shape. Car has power seats, power windows, cruise, CD player, AC, etc. The motor was built and installed last year and all parts listed below were BRAND NEW at the time.
The car has the following additions:
Hotchkis Weld in subframe connectors
Hurst Billet Plus Shifter
Street Twin Clutch with Steel Flywheel
Poly Motor mounts and transmission mounts
ASM 1 3/4" headers
Flowmaster TOTL exhaust (no cat)
Vented Opti Conversion with brand new GM opti
42lb Bosch Injectors
Moroso Cold Air Intake
160 Deg. T'stat
CSI Electric water Pump
Professional Products Keyed Damper
Taylor OVC Wires and NGK plugs
Driveshaft Loop
Moates Chip adapter to allow swapping chips for reprogramming
The motor is a new 383 that has only 2500 miles since it was put together. The car runs great and could even be used as a daily driver if you liked.
Motor details:
Stock LT1 block bored .040 over (actually 385 cu in)
Block was bored, honed, align bored and 0 decked.
Eagle forged 3.75" crankshaft
Eagle 6" Forged H-beam rods with L-19 rod bolts
SRP Forged pistons (11:1 compression with 67cc heads)
SRP File fit rings
Comp Cams 230/236 Camshaft. High lift version, .600/.608 lift, 112 LSA
Comp Cams 977 Valvesprings
MTI Stage 2 ported heads (flow numbers available)
Comp Cams 1.6 NSA Roller Rockers
Hardened pushrods with guideplates
Comp R Lifters
ARP Main studs
ARP Head bolts
ARP Rocker studs
Bosch 42lb Injectors
Cloyes dual roller timing chain
All GM and Felpro gaskets
I'm sure there's a few other things I'm forgetting also. This car ran 118 mph on street tires the only time I've had it to the track so I'd estiamte about 400 RWHP with this setup. Never did have a chance to get the car on a dyno.
Im asking $7700 for the car and I obviously have a LOT more than that into it. I have a few pictures of the car and the motor while it was going together that I can email to anyone that's interested. I'm located out in Holbrook, NY (Long Island) if anyone would like to take a look at the car.
This car has a great tune on it and runs and drives perfectly.
Thanks,
Rob
