1992 Mercedes-Benz 190E - $4800
Category: Import
Status: Clean Title
I have a 1992 Mercedes-Benz 190E for sale, in Toronto - GTA.
Mileage: 1116xxxkm
Engine Size: 2.6
Asking price is $4800
These cars are bulletproof, the M103 engines are well-known for their longevity, and this one is no different. This being a latter model (post 1991) also means that Mercedes got rid of the starting off in 2nd gear/skip gear issue that was in the earlier models.
Even though it is a six cylinder, it doesn’t come with a huge fuel consumption penalty, since it is a frugal little 2.6litre engine.
Non smoker
116xxx original kms on everything (increasing slowly since this is my daily driver)
Body in excellent shape except for minor blemishes (see below)
Straight-six cylinder engine, still strong and pulls smoothly
Automatic
Very clean leather interior
Fully loaded
Cruise Control
Heated-seats
Power windows
Power locks
Power sunroof
Panasonic CD deck
6-speaker system
Original 15" alloys
New Uniroyal tires with ~6500km on it purchased last summer
Driver side airbag
Abs 4 wheel disc brakes
Also have an extra alloy identical to the rest and spare, purchased with the intention of using them for snow tires, but someone stole my spare, so I had to split the pair.
Since my ownership, fluid flush, regular oil changes, Air and oil filter and Bosch platinum spark plugs, installed 2 weeks ago.
The bad:
Everything works flawlessly except the AC only blows cool, the power antenna doesn't work (motor still works, only the plastic rod broke) and a dent the size of a nickel on the driver's front door from some inconsiderate individual in a parking lot
Sad to let it go, but want a manual car now, will consider trading for a sportier manual car; Prelude, Celica, Integra, Impreza, or Civic Coupe comes to mind.
