1990 Suzuki Swift GT - $1200 OBO

Quick rundown on the car's history. My brother bought this car brand new back in 1990. He gave it to me in 2001. I have had it since, so it has only had 2 owners (My brother and I).

Colour: Red
KM's: 206,000 (Mainly highway - I used to communte to London and back regularly)

Modifications:
I have not done any major modifications to this car.
- clear corner lights
- red valve cover
- Sony MP3/CD deck
- Four 4" Infinity Speakers
- MOMO shifter and shift bag

Exterior:
Pretty good condition for a 15 year old car. Still shines after a wash. Minor rust above both front fenders, and a little rust on the hood. Rust on windshield wipers. Small scratches on the back of the car. That's about it. Rest of the car looks great. I will post pictures this week.

Interior:
The seats are in immaculate condition, especially the front ones. The back seats are almost mint too, except for one small cigarette burn that is barely noticeable.

Engine/Exhaust/Transmission:
- 4 cylinder, DOHC, 16-valve, twin cam GT engine
- 5 speed transmission
- New clutch at 180,000 kms
- New distributor
- New catalytic converter
- Usual tranny problems for a swift: grinds on 2nd gear. I get around that by shifting into 2nd gear at low RPMS. I don't even feel the grind anymore.

Tires/Wheels/Brakes
- Brand new rotors and brake pads all around (June)
- New calipers
- 1 set of 14" wheels and tires, tires are Winter tires from Canadian Tire. Great for Winter

What else can I say. The car runs great. The only times I have some problems with is is when it is -30 or colder in the winter time. It struggles to start and takes about 15 minutes to warm up.

This is a great starter Swift or great for someone looking to add another Swift to their collection to modify, work on, take parts from, etc. It's not a fast car, but it's quick and fun. I think they do about a 16.6 in stock form on the quarter mile. I am selling because I am moving downtown and have no need for a car anymore.

I am selling the car to the person that makes the highest offer. Please feel free to give me an offer. All offers will be considered. $1200 OBO. Need to get rid of the car this week.

Please send all inquiries to sham_rajendra@hotmail.com or you can call my cell phone after 6pm at 416-414-1298. If I don't answer, please leave a message and I will call you right back. I live in Scarborough. Thank you.

Updated: Here are the pictures as promised. These pictures are with the 14" wheels and tires.
