1989 Chevrolet Corsica For Sale
Hello...
My parents are selling there 1989 Chevrolet Corsica.. Well it's kinda mine since I was the only one driving it but whatever.. We are selling this car due to the fact that we have way to many cars to have at our house.. We have room for 4 cars to be parked legally.. And I have 2 cars, my parents have 1 van, my grandfather has 1 van and then the Corsica.. So we have 5 cars which don't need...
I used this car while my Beretta was getting fixed and such.. But then I just bought my other car, a 2005 Cobalt SS.. So no need for the Corsica now..
The car (Corsica) has been ours since brand new from the dealer in 1989.. So it's all orginal owner... For a 1989 the car isn't in bad shape, but I am not goign to lie to you.. Rust has formed in certain areas.. (gas tank door area, rocker panels in the doors) but it's not that much really.. Easy to fix if you really need to.. But it's not like a rust bucket.
It's got a 2.8L V6 engine which was replaces acouple years ago through GM. I am thinking the motor has less then say 50,000km on it.. For sure. The car itself only has like 200,000 or so on it and that was just recent because I attended school up in Timmins so it put some Km on the car..
For some reason when the car is cold, it takes a couple seconds until it will go into gear.. I was told my the mechanic that the oil pump is just slows and whatnot so that's what causing it. Not a big deal, I delt with it cause I mean when it warms up its not a problem.
The only real problem that I can see (and I know enough about cars) is that when your going around corners it likes to hesitate on the wheel spinning. I am pretty sure that maybe the drive shaft is slipping or the CV is kinda messed. I am sure it's not that big of an expense. Or you can do what I did and leave it be. If you don't go super fast around the corner nothing happens.
It's a decent car.. Good for a winter beater or parts.. Or just to fixed it up and make it a nice car..
Were asking best offer for it.. My parents would like to get a decent amount for it since the motor is almost brand new.. I mean under 50,000km on it.. Or less.. Everything under that hood has been replaced. And new exhuast system..
Anywaz you can email prostar01@rogers.com or msn me jonny_1982@hotmail.com . or you can post here (no promises on how long it will take to respond if post is made)..
Thank you,
