1985 Chevy Caprice Classic

85' Caprice, originally V8/TH7004R, now no engine/trans. Emissions exempt.

Interior is mint and car is loaded with options. Power everything and cold AC (didn't open system when pulling engine). Also has rare 8.5" posi rear with what looks like 3.23 gears.

Heavy duty cooling, and looks like it had the brakes done not too long ago. Good glass. Tires are just some old ones I am using to roll the car around. I drove the car before I pulled the engine/trans and it was a very nice driver.

Body is nice with only a couple of spots where rust is bubbling the paint. Floors, frame, trunk are rust free. Body looks nice from 10 feet away.

This was a dealer serviced old mans car with a crate motor and trans that I wanted. Now that I have pulled them, the rest of the car is for sale for below scrap price. Its up at my friends place in Alliston. It also has a good title.

If someone really wanted, they could drop an motor/trans in it and put on some tires and have it on the road for cheap. It would be a pretty cool box if someone wanted to go that way.

Take her away for $250. The posi rear is worth more than that. Hell, its worth more than that in scrap value.

Want it gone ASAP.

Thats because its true.

Scrap is currently around $200 a ton for cars, and there is a ton and a half there. My math might be rusty, but the scrap value alone is more than I am asking for the entire car.

Also, have you actually every priced what a 8.5" 10 bolt posi rear goes for? The posi carrier alone goes for $200 used, and this rear has the common 4.75" x 5 bolt pattern, unlike the cop cars with 5"x 5 bolt pattern, and it is narrower than the wagon and cop car rears.

Try knowing what you are talking about before posting stupid .
