1984 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE - $4750
Category: Import
Status: Clean Title
I have a 1984 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE for sale, in Toronto - GTA.
Mileage: 200000km
Asking price is $4750
Up for sale or trade is my '84 GSL-SE. Some background info: I was planning on keeping this car for a long long time but I'm moving soon and my storage space is going to disappear, so I figured I would try and sell the car to someone who will take care of it like I have rather than pay for storage.
The car was built with longevity as a goal, as I had planned on this being one of those cars you take out to the track or cruising on weekends and still have 30 years later. No short-cuts were taken and the car is in no way 'hacked-up' like most FB RX-7s for sale these days. I haven't so much as cut a wire on the factory wiring harness - the car itself is in amazing condition having been undercoated and winter-stored it's entire life. If you're into modding cars; all it needs is a nice set of nice wheels and you'll have one of the nicest old school RX-7s around. This car is ready for you to jump in, turn the key, and hit up an auto-cross, lapping day, or just to cruise around. This car is very reliable and has never given me any problems.
Basics:
- 203,000km
- 5 speed
- Power Windows and Mirrors
- Sunroof
- Kenwood MP3 Player
- RX-7 GSL Limited Slip Differential (harder lock-up than original diff)
Exterior:
- Fresh paint in 2005
- No rust, body is in great shape (have pics before paint to prove)
- Zero accidents
- No 'wheel bin' rust
Engine/Drivetrain:
- Freshly rebuilt and streetported S5 13B done by a highly reputable builder (about 180hp)
- ACT Street Clutch Set (PP and Disk)
- 8lb. 6061 Aluminum flywheel
- Full Racing Beat Exhaust system (header to exhaust) ($1300 alone...)
- Electromotive TEC3 Standalone Engine Management System, controlling:
- Zeitronix Wideband Sensor and Controller
- 640cc Primary injectors
- 420cc Secondary injectors
- 16" 2000cfm electric fan
- 4x individual coils
- Custom trigger wheel and mag sensor setup
- Two-step rev-limiter circuit wired to clutch pedal
Suspension:
- Full Energy Suspension bushings
- Tokico blue front strut inserts
- KYB Gas-A-Just rear shocks
Brakes:
- Cross-drilled front and rotors
- PBR Front and rear pads
Wheels/Tires:
- 14"x6" Enkei wheels
- Falken Azenis RT-615
Gauges:
- Autometer 20psi Boost
- Autometer Air-Fuel Ratio
- Stewart Warner 2200degF EGT Gauge
- Stewart Warner Electronic Fuel Gauge
Interior:
- Carpet so clean you'll want to pull it out of the car and sleep on it.
- Ugly burgandy interior circa mid '80s
Performance:
- 14.6@94mph
- base tune run in late September... cold out... etc. (beating up on an RX-8 and S2000 at the track that day though)
Price:
$4750 obo
Interested in trading for cars like BMW E30s or E36s, (or E46 + my cash), an Audi 90 20v, or B5 S4 (+ my cash), etc. Other interesting trades considered as well.
Gotta move it fast, so let's work something out. Have a fun summer toy for 2010!
