FS: A Set of Old School 4x100 Mesh Cheviot Wheels (14x6) with Tires
Up for grabs is a really rare set of old school mesh Cheviot Wheels with Michelin MXV tires in 195/60HR14. Tires were used for racing purposes and there is around 6/32" of tread left but there is a lot of balled up rubber from racing. Wheels and tires served track duty on an old Lotus Europa race car. The car is long gone but the wheels remain.
Bolt pattern for the Lotus was 4x98mm but Cheviot intentionally drilled the holes larger in order to accommodate 4x100mm bolt patterns (I tried them out on my Hyundai Accent and they fit fine). You will need special longer wheel bolts to run these.
Wheels are all in great shape - just really old. The clear coat on the lips has seen better days but there are no dings, no scratches, no curb rash at all on the rims - would be beautiful refinished. There are also no centre caps - they were lost years ago.
Wheels are 14x6", offset is -17.5mm
