DESCRIPTION:
This intercooler was bought late 2005 and was used on the car throughout 2006. In late 2006, my car fishtailed in the rain and jumped a curb.

When the car hit the curb, one of the end tanks sustained damage resulting in a few inches of the end tank being snapped (as seen in the last pic).

Since the unit has cast aluminium end tanks, the damage sustained was only to one of the end tanks while the rest of the intercooler remained in excellent condition.

The unit was carefully repaired by an experienced welder, and is guaranteted to be leak free.

The 5th picture below shows what the intercooler looked when it was originally purchased and the 6th picture shows the end result of the crash.

The last two pictures show how the unit looks mounted on a 1992 Nissan 240sx.
